An alloy of Copper (~80% or more) and Tin (~20% or less).
Bronze is typically used for decorative purposes, with occasional applications taking advantage of its low dissimilarity friction (i.e. as a bearing), as a spark-free tool material, and as a material for electrical connectors.
While not commonly used as a tool material, it is sturdy enough for it and easy to obtain on many bodies, making it suitable if iron refining is not possible.
