Aluminium

A highly abundant and lightweight metal commonly used for alloying or standalone use.

Aluminium is a primary constituent of all feldspars, multiple common gem minerals (beryl, cryolite, garnet, spinel, turquoise..), and in bauxite, which serves as the primary ore for the material. Aluminium can form native deposits in specific conditions (very low oxygen).

Aluminium is also a constituent of Potassium Alum (and other alums), a useful dyeing mordant, tanning agent, baking powder, and styptic.
